Use the coded aphabet , decode and code your secret message!
Here's the coded alphabet to send your secret message to your partner school.

The number of the pitchforks on the left tower reveal the horizontial row, whilst the number of the pitchforks on the right tower reveal the vertical column. Combine them and find the letter!Repeat for every picture your partner send you. Then put the letters together and find the word! This was the way that ancestors used to deliver the message of the victory or the defeat miles away from castle to castle! It resembles an ancient way to send SMS !!! That was called Flictory!!!
Tip: In order to help preschoolers understand the activity, you can print copies of the pitchforks , a castle with 2 towers and help them count with tangible materials or just print the secret pages and work in teams to reveal each letter.
First we count the horizontal rows, watching the left tower. So , the letter is one of the second row...f, g, h, i, j or k.
Then we count the columns that are shown on the right tower.
2nd row, 1st column...it's letter f! The first letter of the seeking word.
We repeat to find all letters of the encrupted word! Good luck!
